Solar-Powered E-STEM Education

The Rann of Kutch are the salt pans of India, producing 70% of the country's salt. This salt has been harvested for centuries by migrant workers who are members of the Agariya tribe, facing an absence of basic rights, without access to education for their children, which is of greater concern due to the fact that the salt corrodes their lungs and their limbs, and they have a greater risk of heat stroke due to the scorching desert sun, reducing their life expectancy to less than 40 if they are fortunate, with many children dying before reaching adulthood, and they have no idea why this happens. Green Hope Foundation is rectifying this lack of awareness and access to education by providing e-STEM education to the migrant children of the Rann of Kutch to empower them to become changemakers in their own spheres of influence, which, in turn, will enable them to have a better quality of life and protect the planet at the same time.
