Green Hope is a wonderful NGO, well-conceptualized for it's true purpose of promoting the SDGs and environmental awareness and carefully and passionately steered by the Founder, Kehkashan Basu. I have known Kehkashan since 2013, when Green Hope was 1 year old. Kehkashan's drive, commitment and the ability to dream big, impressed me rightaway. The mega projects undertaken by Green Hope in the short span of 7 years and the massive number of youth members of this organisation is testimony to the vision of this organisation and the positive impact across the globe. My school has worked on some projects with Green Hope. My own 2 teenage children have engaged with Green Hope extensively. These interactions have resulted in deep learning and reflection along with greater commitment to environmental causes. It is my previlege to support this organisation for the good work they do.

Kehkashan is truly one of the most inspiring young changemakers and a voice of future generations. Her organisation Green Hope is having a great positive impact by encouraging youth to create a more sustainable world. They are spreading a message of positivity and empowerment and we are proud to have Kehkashan as Youth Ambassador of the World Future Council.

I have been aware of Kehkashan’s work as a young champion for the environment and children’s rights for a number of years. Her commitment and creativity for getting other young people involved is an inspiration. All of us at UNICEF are proud to work forand with young people around the world like Kehkashan, so they have the space share their views and take action on these critical issues that affect children’s lives and our common planet.
